Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using RestForge ("the app", "we", "our"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RestForge, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
RestForge is an API testing and development tool for iOS and iPad. The app allows you to:
- Send HTTP requests (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc.)
- Organize requests into collections
- Manage environment variables
- Sync collections across devices via cloud storage
- Import collections from third-party tools
- Write pre-request and post-request scripts
3. User Accounts
You may create an account using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the app to send malicious requests or conduct denial-of-service attacks
- Interfere with the app's infrastructure or other users' access
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations while using the app
5. User Data & Content
You retain ownership of all data you create within the app, including API collections, environments, and request history. We do not claim any rights to your content.
When you use cloud sync, your data is stored in your private Firebase Firestore account. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
6. Third-Party Services
RestForge may interact with third-party APIs and services at your direction. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services. Your use of third-party APIs is subject to their respective terms of service.
7. Intellectual Property
The app, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by BS Media. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal or professional API testing purposes.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
RestForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BS Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or unauthorized access to your data.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the app's Profile screen.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
